My Beloved “Spike”.

From the day you were rescued,

I knew in my heart,

You were for me,

We would never part.

I took you home, sick and lame,

I promised you, we’d cure the pain!

As days went on, the smile came through,

The Dr. had you feeling new.

I loved your eyes, your special face,

By bedside was your favorite place.

You are a part of me that will never rest.

When we meet again will be the best.

God called you to, in his peaceful way,

I’ll never forget this, heartbreaking day.

I love you dearly from my heart,

Today, Tomorrow,

Together or apart.
