Alyce has been working with dogs nearly all of her life. She worked for Doug McLain, an all
breed professional handler. She has shown and bred Dachshunds and English Springer Spaniels and has owned and/ or bred
20+ Dachshund Champions. Her experience in competition includes; Conformation, Obedience, Field Trails and Earth Dog Trials.
Over the years, she has taught many conformation and obedience classes. She also has managed a Dachshund rescue program in
the Chicago area for 12 years. She is currently a Director of the Minnesota Dachshund Club and has held other offices in this
and other clubs.
